BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Present: Dick Sonderegger, Madeleine Follett, Lance Bushey, Karen Suponski, Elaine Thoms, Steve Walczewski, Sue Nilsen
Call to order 7:37pm
§ Treasurer – special assessment collection; D & O insurance coverage to be discussed with John Laudati. Not recommending a budget increase this year
§ Beach – Rich to hang beach sign before annual meeting; cookout preparations.
§ Nominations – need a vice president
§ Ask Moloney to present a Friends of ML update to the annual meeting
§ Repair upper road mailbox shed? Wait a year to install new boxes? Discuss at annual meeting.
§ Discussion re the old W. Lakeview roadway opened up (behind Meile property to Follett property). Nadine and George asked Rich Thoms to grade it – this was not brought before the Board. Noted discussion points:
§ Liability issues (is there insurance coverage for it and are we at risk?)
§ Erosion problems – Folletts have seen increased erosion
§ Nearness of the roadway to the Follett well head
§ Plowing issues for the winter season?
§ Roadway is association property, and changes should come before the Board
§ Steve W will talk with Rich Thoms
