MANITOOK LAKE ASSOCIATION
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 21, 2008

Members present: Dick Sonderegger, Sue Nilsen, Lance Bushey, Elaine Thoms, Jim Moloney (Weed Committee Chair), Karen Suponski

Call to order 7:30pm

OLD BUSINESS

1. Thanks to Madeleine and Sue for canvassing channel residents re the upcoming community weed presentation.
2. Weed committee – committee meeting in progress, Board joined meeting near the end. Discussion in progress on presentation/organization items.
3. Will probably need to hold a special meeting of the association members after the presentation by Aquatic Control. Dick will write up a letter of invitation to assoc. members with the proper notification time.
4. Discussion of umbrella organization setup, rather than have the association monitor weed eradication, so that anyone in the town can join as an interested party.
5. Organize a follow-up public meeting.
6. Volunteers to bake for presentation meeting; Elaine will make posters for the neighborhood.

Weed committee staff left at 8:38 (except Jim).

Treasurer’s Report

39 members paid in full, 1 partial. Paid mailbox, signs, plowing, taxes, ACT. Discussion regarding reserve funds.

Mailbox Report

Mailboxes have been assigned and keys are distributed. Old box taken away.

Beach Sign

Discussion re new beach sign/colors, etc.
