Manitook Lake Association Board Meeting

Attendees: Sue Nilsen, Dick Sonderegger, Linda Knorr, Elaine Stuart-Thoms, Sue Hackett

Plowing bill from the Town of Granby has not yet been received.

Review of Planning/Zoning meeting of 10-27-03.

Linda Knorr will speak to John Laudati about getting a copy for our records of the letter sent by the Planning and Zoning commission to Doug Max. The letter outlines to Doug his need to do nothing but store logs (no wood processing) until a work building has been designed, approved and built on the site.

Treasurer's report read. 36 of the 51 properties have paid their 2003-2004 dues. Dick S. will begin scheduling personal visits with those not yet paid, in an attempt to learn what the issues are and resolve them, if possible.

Road report (relayed by Dick S.). Gene Suponski would like to rent a large bobcat/small excavator to do a day of road work before winter comes. It is time to purchase additional stone because the storage piles are almost empty.

Elaine Stuart-Thoms has observed slower traffic and less activity in the rental property owned by Mike Guarco since Steve Dubois spoke to the Granby police.

We ask that if anyone is aware of the new neighbors moving into the Lake association area, please inform Dick Sonderegger. We would like to continue our practice (started last year) of making a welcome visit with a copy of our association newsletter and small gift.

Welcome committee hopes to visit Madeline Follet this weekend.

Sue Hackett/Dick Sonderegger will research the possibility of purchasing a heaving line for the lake.

The next meeting will be at 7:30pm on Monday, December 1, 2003, at 38 Lakeside Drive.

Respectfully Submitted,
Susan Hackett
